about

My passion for photography began at the age of 10, when I received my first camera—a Kodak Instamatic—in 1977. I soon progressed to a fully manual film SLR, where I developed a strong understanding of the fundamentals of photography, including light, shutter speed, aperture, and composition. In those early years, photography was entirely film-based, and my enthusiasm for bringing images to life led me to learn traditional darkroom techniques, from processing film to printing photographs, first in black and white and later in colour.

As technology has advanced, so has my equipment and skill set. Today, I work with professional Nikon DSLR camera bodies and high-grade Nikon lenses, supported by my Diploma in Professional Photography.

I  hold a CASA Remote Pilot Licence and operate sub-2kg drones, including a DJI Mavic 3 Classic, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and a 3DR Solo fitted with a Nikon J-series mirrorless camera system, enabling me to capture high-quality aerial imagery safely and professionally.

My journey into web development began in 1999 while studying for a Diploma of IT Business Systems at TAFE, where I built my first website. Since then, I have completed a range of Adobe and website development courses and have been providing websites and digital services to clients since 2001.

By combining my expertise in photography and website development, I deliver clean, easy-to-navigate websites that are rich in colour and imagery, creating engaging and memorable online experiences.
